Thank You To ALL My Sponsors!

Like I have said, there is no way I could do this without the incredible help of my sponsors. They allow me to keep my bike running with parts, tires and fuel. They keep me and my van running as well. It keeps me in food and gas money so I can make it to the races. While back home in Australia, I work every minute I can as a welder/fabricator and stuff that money away for my racing. Still live at home with my great folks and everything! Even with that sacrafice, I need this help and just can't thank these folks enough. Please support them and let them know why you are supporting them! Thank you to everybody!

Skip Eaken Racing has been kind enough to let me replace Don Taylor since he was tragically injured at Gas City in a nasty get-off. I am doing my very best to put this bike on the podium before the season ends. Thank you very much for the opportunity tio ride a top-level machine like this Skip.

KK Motorcycle Supply is a major sponsor of Eaken Racing. Again, I really hope to reward their sponsorship with a podium before years end.

American Harley-Davidson is a dealer in NY that is another supporter of Eaken Racing. They also sponsor several other riders and are to be commended for supporting the sport for so long and through these difficult times.

Dick Ford is another supporter of Eaken Racing and hence is keeping me on a fantastic twins ride and I appreciate his support greatly!

Digger Helm. What can I say about this guy. He has remembered his flat track racing roots and now likes to help racers when he can, and I am so grateful to have made the list this year. He helps racers all over the country and contributes so much to Eddie Mulder's great races. Next time you see Digger at a race, please shake his hand and thank him for all he does for the sport.Thank you Digger!!

JAS Investments. This is a small company that has come on board in a big way. I just want to give a huge thanks to them for all that they have done, and it has been a lot. Thank you JAS!

Jamie Nicely and his companies Nicely Motorsports and Micah Racing have also stepped up and are supporting my program this year. I really want to thank Jamie for his kindness and support. The twins machine is a tire eater! Without support from Micah Racing I would be running on the RIMS! When you need tires, call Jamie at 775/742-6690 and he will set you up. Tell him Luke sent you!

Davey Durelle at Durelle Racing is the go-to suspension guy in the world of left turns. Being a racer himself and a multi-time Pikes Peak Hillclimb Champion, he really knows what he is doing. He also carries some of the coolest wheels in the business and lots of other fantastic parts. Click on his logo to visit his website and see what he can do for you.

A huge thank you goes out Keith Johnson at Johnson Cams. Keith's unwavering support and assistance with my program has been a God send. I could not do this without all of his mechanical assistance. He is also a great friend and mentor. Please click here to read a very special thank you to Keith Johnson.

I would really like to thank Kenny Hapke at Hap's Leathers. Kenny is another racer that understands racers and his experience shows. Give Kenny a call for a great set of leathers to cover your assets!

Troy Lee Designs has also joined the Luke Gough team for 2010. They are supplying MX style gear for singles events. It is really an honor to be associated with with an outfit like Troy Lee.

Spider Grips is also new on-board the Luke Gough train. They make the greatest grips on the planet! Can't hardley get your hands off them in the pits!

Ride PG.com has done my custom graphics and they look SAWEEET!!! They did a fantastic job and will work with you until you get just what you want. Remember, you have to look good to keep your current sponsors happy and to get new ones!

K&N Performance Filters has joined the program and I really want to thank them for helping me out! They did a really nice write up about me on their website if you can believe that. Click here to see the article. Many big thanks again to the folks at K&N Performance Filters, best filter made!

I really want to thank the folks at Suomy Helmets for coming on board and helping me out with both motocross style helmets for DTX races and full-face helmets for the big tracks. These are the most comfortable helmets I have ever worn. I hope I am the second fastest Aussie they ever sponsor. (I think that Troy Bayliss will keep first place locked up for quite some time!) Thank you for your support!

Vortex Racing is giving me a hand with sprockets, chain and handlebars. I have used their products in the past because they were the best, nice to have them on this page and helping me out.

Next is Drum Evans at 218 Designs. He has built my website, written articles and press releases even designed my leathers! He has helped me with sponsorship applications and coordination afterwards. With his buddy Jeff at ProCycle.us, they have also helped me with parts whenever I need them! They have even arranged to have things shipped to various places across the country so I can pick them up when on the road. They are both racers too and that helps them understand what I need. Give them a call and they can help you too!

Harold MacDonald with Tusk Racing is another ardent supporter helping me with head work and lending years of knowledge to all my work. Thank you!

Steve Berg. has provided support for me in many ways, mostly sharing his knowledge and experience with me. Steve builds some of the fastest and coolest Triumph flat trackers you will ever see. He does restorations and has performance parts as well. Hopefully I will get a chance to ride a Steve Berg Triumph somewhere this year!

Still Looking for Additional Sponsors!

Racing is expensive. The travel costs alone are getting astronomical. Take a moment to look at the schedule for this year. Mileage alone will easily exceed 15,000 miles and with gas prices hovering at almost $3 per gallon (sure to go up this summer again) that will cost me more than $3,000 just to get from race to race.

That $3,000 is just fuel for my van, no food or other living expenses, no race fees, no equipment costs, nothing but gas. My point is that though I have a great list of sponsors, and I appreciate all they have done for me, I really need additional funding or product support to bring my program to the championship level. If you have a product you would like me to use and promote - great! If you want to provide a service or can afford to supplement my fund with cash for entry fees and the like, that would be fantastic as well. If you know of somebody that should or would like to sponsor me, please let me know and I will be happy to get in touch with them.

In exchange, I will provide excellent exposure for your products or services. Whenever I have an opportunity to speak to race fans or other racers, I will always promote your products or services to the best of my ability. I can also distribute flyers and stickers, put up banners or whatever else necessary to promote your product.

The best endorsement of all is doing well of course. It is great to see your product brand on the podium! Your sticker or patch in a magazine photo shoot, or on the web, both are a great way to show potential customers that you have a winning product. With your help I will be doing a lot of that this season.

If you are interested in sponsoring the fastest dirt tracker from down under, please drop me a note at luke@lukegough.com and I will see that you get a package as quickly as possible.
